I was pulling up weeds and planting Cannas in the far corner of the front yard when I found this growing right at the edge of the sidewalk. If it's an actual weed, I have never had one like it before....and as one who pulled up all the grass and weeds from the front yard on her hands and knees I have seen all the weeds in my yard up close and personal.
It may be been dropped off by a passing bird?

Hi Toni! While I don't really recognize it as any plant I grow, the new growth on that plant reminds me of Euphorbia or Cushion Spurge. Maybe it is something in that family?

Back in 2009 I did have a Pachysandra terminalis 'Green Carpet' (Spruge, Green Carpet Spurge) in a planter about 20 feet from where this plant came up, it died during the winter of '09.
Could that be it and just a bit misshapen from growing under weeds? I have planter that I use as a 'nursery bed' for unknowns and put it there until I could get a proper ID of it.
