I'm very inexperienced at painting and picking colours especially, and I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on what colour to choose to paint my bedroom. My bedroom suite is a dark espresso colour with a beige padded microfibre headboard and my bedding is hot pink with lime green accents. My carpet is a neutral tone. Any advice would be great! thanks

Wow, hot pink! That's going to be a challenge. Is it possible to get a photo, that would help immensely to give us an idea.

As Frank says Quigs a photograph would be really helpful. I'd be tempted to keep the walls neutral so that the hot pink and and lime green are the focal point of the room. Nice to have you here with us and I hope you'll stay around and join in the fun here at the Stew. Very Happy

I would suggest painting the walls a light beige and then maybe accenting the two bright colors with chocolate brown. Either on an accent wall or in a rug or some other accessory.

Hope that helps!

I agreee Jason green can be very relaxing and soothing in a bedroom. We have a shade called 'bamboo' in our spare bedroom. Very Happy

I have sage green in my dressing room for it's soothing qualities also. It's why a lot of mental hospitals are green. Smile
