Good evening all. Gorgeous day today, high in the low 70's but way too dry. I bought some seeds and seeding starting pellets and mulch.

I worked in the yard for almost 2 hours this afternoon getting a start on the front garden, cleaning up the trash that has blown in over the last two days and pulling weeds that have been growing this month.
Put some mulch down and the bed area looks so much better, will get pictures taken and posted tomorrow.
Since we probably won't get any of the slight chance of rain in tomorrows forecast I will most likely be out front again.

Toni, your day sounds lovely. I got off early enough (because of technology class) that I got to see the light of day. Was light to 5 PM. Weather has been unseasonably warm until today and a little frost this AM. It won't be long until spring is here for this part of the planet, but that is only because time flys when your having fun.

Well, I've been whining about the lack of snow in Ontario and I'm finally getting some! I just tried to take my son to his soccer class and the roads were so bad that I had to turn around and come home.
The snow is going to continue all night and into tomorrow. Winter is finally starting here :)

Good Evening all. I missed roll call this morning as I have started back to work for the season. It was a beautiful sunny day and I got a lot of work done. My back is sore and I am exhausted. I'm going to sleep good tonight :)

Good Tuesday evening all. It was another lovely, sunny day. I worked hard again today and I'm very tired. I slept like a baby last night so hopefully I will again tonight. I forgot my camera the last 2 days, but I have packed it for tomorrow. There are some nice things blooming at work :)

The days simply aren't long enough to get things done that I want done. Tried to get off and out of work early and it was still six o'clock by the time I had things started (potting up a filbert seedling, fixing a potluck dish for the neighborhood monthly meeting). ***big sigh*** It is so nice having the sun up later and I am enjoying every minute. Feels like I need a couple of wellness days...spring fever has definitely hit. :-D

Good Evening all. It was a lovely day as well as Canada Day so Happy Canada Day to all the Canadians here. And to celebrate, our government has given us a brand new tax - the HST. It's the the largest tax hike in Canadian history. Am I bitter?
    You bet!

I am about to go outdoors and do a "Rain Dance"!!!
Haven't had any rain since Sept.23rd, and it's pretty dry. The weather people said it was going to rain last week, but NO, the rain must've headed off someplace else. Last weekend they warned of rain and storms... NONE... Tonight there is a possibility of showers. I sure hope we get some measurable precipitation, and not just a dribble.
Granted, I have been getting a lot of work done, but my baby shrubs want a good drink, and I want a day off!

Your rain dance worked Kay ... it's raining here!
I had a very hard day and I'm exhausted. A rainy evening is the perfect excuse for going to bed early :)

Netty. Glad it worked for you, not so much here.
I think we dodged a big, bad, storm, but didn't get any rain. :'(
