 :-x :scheming:  :-x :scheming:  :-x :scheming: Oh, I would have been so sad and mad and disgusted. So sorry for your loss even now. What a disappointment. Potatoes from the garden are ever so much better than store bought ones. How sad!

Oh. I found a good saying about gardens recently. I think it also has to do with a person's character.

"Gardens are not made by singing 'Oh, how beautiful", and sitting in the shade."

    How very true!

I planted the green beans and two are popping up!! My tomato plants have blooms on them for the first time. Is there anything I need to do with them before they produce tomatoes (IF they do I should say! Lol)?

The only thing I can think of is keep them watered, and if you can plant food every few weeks. It is supposed to be best to water early in the day so they are not wet at night. But rain comes in the night, so I don't know.

Potatoes are puzzling to me. Last year, we had such a great crop. This year, about as many as I planted. Even with frequent watering, the earth was bone dry a foot down.
    Better luck in 2015.

I have a sprout off of a sweet potato in a bucket and I'm going to see if I get any sweet potatoes out of it.

I cut a branch off our Black Krim tomato, stuck it in the ground, watered, fed. Lo and behold it has two tomatoes growing on it.
