|
Hi:
This is my first post and let me start by saying I'm glad I found this forum.
I live in a 750 sf apartment and would like to renovate & upgrade my kitchen. New cabinets, floor, and maybe appliances.
I need help in designing the best layout. What resources (free hopefully) do you recommend I tap into?
As soon as I get a drawing or picture of the kitchen, I'll post it here.
Thanks!

Hi heyma and welcome to GardenStew!
Google have a free 3d modelling program call SketchUp that may be useful to you. You can download it here:
http://sketchup.google.com/product_suf.html
Personally I've never used it but I've seen what it can do and they say it is easy to use. And powerful.
Have a look and maybe you will be able to create a model in it to show us

Thankyou for pointing me in the direction of the SKETCHUP site, as I was on the verge of asking if there was such a downloadable program
However, I think my 64MB computer may not be sufficient, as it appears to require 128MB
Certainly will keep it in mind though
Thanks again
C.J.
