Mexican Sunflower

    I grew this from seeds given to me by a friend this year. Only 2 survived and didn't bloom all season. I had given up on them when I saw a bloom yesterday when the weather is already cooling down here. Such a pretty flower this is. I will surely try it again next year.

    I agree your Mexican Sunflower is really lovely. I hope it stays in flower for you for some time to come.

    That is a beautiful flower with the subtle color variations on each petal. I've never seen it before or at least not a close up of it. I hope it blooms for a long time for you.

    That is certainly a beautiful flower! My son loves sunflowers, though I don't think he would recognize this as one, but I think he'd like it still anyway :)
