The house finch is usually neglected and yet it is a nicely colored bird. So I thought I would post one.

We had many of these little fellas at our old house. I loved to listen to them :-D

I get many of them at my feeder and I think they are very pretty birds.

Somehow when I see birds with pink colouring like this in winter they look as though they're warm and toasty. Hopefully this little House finch is. :-D

I didn't learn of this birdvuntil I was about 40 years old. How could that happen. I must have been living in a hole somewhere.......

I love this little bird. They also keep eceryone active around the feeding pot.
