Have been away from the games world for a while now - the last game I played properly was Far Cry 18+months ago - my rig, I still think is ok for most forms of gaming, 3500+, 6800GT, 1gig ram etc. but the big new thing for me is I have just had sky BB installed at home, so have 16meg bb pumping in now - woohoo!! (I didn't have any Internet connection to my computer at home up till now).
Anyway - I have never played an online game in my life and feel i'm missing out!
I've just picked up a copy of Half Life 2 "game of the year edition", as I have been wanting to play it since it came out but have had no BB connection for Steam..... so i thought i'd give counterstrike a crack, but what other online pc games at the moment are woth getting into? Regarding the fact I'm a newbie at this so nothing to complex!!

My 20 year old nephew plays Diablo all the time so maybe that's a good one for you.He sits at the computer forever playing it! You could do a search and find out what you like. Sorry I'm not much help!

I don't play PC computer games myself but my husband has a series of strategy games called HEROES of Might and Magis that he loves and spends hours playing. It might be worth having at look at them to see what you think.

If you liked HL then you will like Americas Army. Lots of strategy and not just running around shooting things. It is also free!

I play poker online on 3 different sites but just for fun, never ever for real money, your still playing against a main PC controlled by them you win only if they let you....so I play for fun and chat also...I've played poker over 40 yrs...also have 2 Casino's for fun slot's which I downloaded for Free
(I don't pay for anything)the slot's are so real amazing!!
