Hi there,
Don't know if this is going to be of any help to you or not. I asked a friend about your locked laptop and they said to hit the F5 key, which will take you to the start up menu, and then re-boot.
What would I do? Well I'd take it to a repair shop and ask their advice as I know nothing about the workings of computers at all!!
Sorry I couldn't be of more use to you. Hope you manage to get it unlocked.
