I have been thinking about this thread and all of the negative implications the weather could have on our spring. Then trying to turn it into a positive I thought about all the plants, including the 25 Canna Lilys I left in the ground, that this will help. Since I am right on the edge of USDA Hardiness Zones 6 and 7 there are a lot of things I grow that are 'borderline' in the winter. Perhaps they will be able to pull through without too much damage.
