I have to work today, 11-8 and Saturday 10-7, then I am off Sunday and Monday, yeah! The store is actually closed Monday, the only day of the year it closes.
These three days are going to be crazy. What is known as the "vacumn effect" started yesterday. You can actually see things being sucked out of the store. Shelves and cases are going to empty at alarming rates. It is really something to see, like a well oiled machine. As displays empty, new ones are being put in. At this time of the year things change from day to day. I will be so glad when this month is over.

I'm sure your lovely hubby will take good care of you. I could NEVER do what you do and not quit after one week. You are one tough lady. Do you get any time off after Christmas?

One more day. Maybe after the holidays you can have a bubblebath and a good book.

Thanks for the hugs and support everyone. We were very busy today, but at least we had enough people to handle the business, we usually don't. One lady transfered to the meat dept. because she wasn't happy where she was at. She is weird, but a really good worker. LOL
Glendann, if I don't cook Richard will beat me and make me sleep in the shed!!!!!
Muddy, I do have some vacation days left, but I want to wait till it is time to start working in the yard to take them. I can't think of anything I would rather be doing than weeding and planting.

Gosh Polly, you are so wise. I am reading this and the Saturday work day is over and I made it. But gosh, it was crazy in there the last 2 days. I am so glad I am off tomorrow, I am not even going in for our department dinner. I am cooking the turkeys and sending them in by a co-worker.
