Just goes to show how mild it has been in Essex this year. Whilst at the plot on Christmas day daughter number one and I enjoyed a flush of raspberries - our little treat! These aren't an autumn variety but a summer one, and they should have finished months ago!

They were DELICIOUS!

EJ, we are sort of used to having things grow and bloom out of season because of our weather but not berries like that. Unlike others, I do not care for raspberries, so you can have mine too. Very Happy

I love raspberries, so I want some too. Do they grow in Louisiana? I wonder.

It is funny how some people are stawb lovers and some raspberries. As much as I adore strawbs, I would eat the rasps first every time, they are my absolute favourite and thankfully on our allotment site, there is a huge patch of them by the gate, and old Jack doesn't mind me pinching one on my way through. Smile

That's amazing EJ! I've had raspberries in my garden for 3 years and never had a berry from them! This year, they are getting replaced with strawberry plants.
