hello i hve just joined my name is cheryl, i wonder if anyone can help me i have an hydrangea in a pot it has bloomed early this year ,but has not come out no more, there is just a few leaves on it, the branches have got some white foam on them does this mean it has a disease? some of the branches aredead i think how can i revive it ? anyone any clues

Hi Cheryl and a HUGE welcome to the GardenStew forums

That white foam sounds familiar. In fact have a look at this topic http://www.gardenstew.com/viewtopic.php?t=30 It talks about what I think is on your hydrangeas, namely 'cuckoo-spit'.
