Hi

I would like to get rid on the grass in my front garden as it is always in the shade and covered in moss. I am going to chip it but do not want to dig up the grass first, is there something that will kill the grass off or can I just covered straight over it.

Hi there Katie,

The most commonly used weedkiller, that will also kill grass, is glysophate. You can purchase it from any garden centre. Just follow the instructions and your grass will soon be a thing of the past.

I've also found a website that may be of some use to you.
