|
I woke up late this morning. Hubby packed my lunch - not what I wanted but what he found in the refrigerator. Backed out of the garage through the snow that hubby had not been cleared yesterday - got to the road only to discover I had a flat tire. As I discover this, my cell phone is ringing in the back seat - I ignore it. Hubby trying to call to tell me I have a flat tire - like I hadn't figured this out on my own. I get the jeep back into the driveway for "someone" to help me. I call work saying I will be late. Worst part of it was when my dear husband says to me "I wondered if that nail you ran over yesterday punctured the tire" He KNEW I had run over a nail in HIS garage and never bothered to tell me. He put air in it for me (wearing only his bathrobe and it was about 8 degrees outside) and I made it to town and called the tire repair place - they were able to patch it and sent me on my way. The day didn't improve so I'm glad it's almost bedtime.

Aren't men just the best!!! I hate a day that starts off with something like that. Pleased to hear you managed to get the tyre patched though. Sleep well.

I hate flat tires more than when the car just won't start. Glad you weren't held up to long. Wannabe

Sorry about your flat tire Polly. That's exactly how my day started today! I went out to start the car and noticed that one of my tires was completely flat. I don't think I can blame my husband though. RATS! lol

Actually I didn't say much - but the look I gave him probably said a lot.
Today was much better.
