How To: Post Photos

There are two ways to post photos on GardenStew:

1. Posting photos from your My Garden area

You can upload garden photos directly to the 'My Garden' section of this site. To reach your garden click the 'My Garden' link at the very top of the page.

Once in your garden you can create photo albums and upload photos to these albums. Once you have a photo uploaded copy the Forum Code listed on the photo's page and paste it into a forum post or blog entry. Your photo will then be visible when you submit / preview.

You can also use the 'Insert / Upload a Photo' link when you are writing a forum post to insert photos you have uploaded to your Garden into the post.

2. Posting photos from a photo hosting site

a/ Make sure your photo or image is uploaded to a website that stores photos. We highly recommend PhotoBucket http://www.photobucket.com/ Read their helpful tutorials to get photos uploaded to their site as easy as possible.

b/ Once your photos are uploaded you need to know how to make them appear in a forum post or blog entry. Using PhotoBucket this is easy. Copy the contents of the IMG Code box that PhotoBucket displays below an uploaded image. Now paste this text into your new forum post or blog entry and that's it!
