I won't be able to get out into the garden until at least the beginning of April. I guess I'll be going thru these seed catalog's too and planning my gardens. I MAY be able to start some seeds at the end of the month.

A new gardening task has come to my attention for this month. The Roundtree Nursery catalog has arrived and now that I know what I will be ordering from them I have to figure out where I will be planting it.

I am ordering a Blue Elderberry aka Blueberry Elder, Sambucus caerulea. It is native from Mexico up thru to Alberta. I have wanted one for years just because and Randy has wanted to make Elderberry wine. It does eventually get pretty large so I have some planning ahead to do out back for it.
Okay who knows the infamous Phythonesk insult? Shocked

Last night's heavy (as in wet) snow reminded that I go out and clean the evergreens during February. I don't like it building up on some of the dwarf or weeping types.
