I'm wanting to start some coleus seeds in a terrarium.
Any advice? I'm planning on recycling an old fish bowl as the container. I know this is a short-term fix for my gardening bug but spring is a long way off and I have to plant something before I go nuts!!!

I don't know much about terrariums, but I don't see why that wouldn't work. Would the coleus get too big for the space, or would you plant them outside once the weather permits.

I have a large green bottle jar that I've grown coleus in Deanna. Just make sure you can get your hand inside easily to remove the growing tips from the plants when they start to get too big and they should do fine. Spray the insides of the bowl rather than water the earth as it helps to build up humidity better that way.

Excellent advice Eileen! The water mister will be the way I water! I hadn't even thought about that! Zuzu, you probably won't see any pictures from me Sad You see, I am computer challenged. I am quite proud of myself for getting this far Laughing However, if I learn how to make the camera/computer connection you can bet I'll be showing off some photos!
