The site gives complete directions.

ooooooooooooooooo, I have my very own bowling ball in the loft, and as we never go bowling, I am very tempted. I love the lizard ball!

Those are great, I'm taken with the lizard variety. I think we'll be needing a Bowling Ball sub-forum soon

Very fun! Though I must say the lizards kind of gave me the creeps, there were so many of them.
I still want to do a penny-ball this year.

'Tis a good site, indeed!
Oddly enough, this was the exact project I
started, the lizard ball, from this page.
After I painted it, I did not like the look at
all, and plucked the lizards off, then painted
it a few more times vand ended up making a glass ball instead.
I even searched for months for just the right
lizards, but in the end, I changed my mind.
For anyone who does make the lizard ball, I'll
pass on a tip. Some of the lizards did not want
to lay still (down, you little bugger!) or flat,
so I just held a lighter underneath them. Hold
the lighter to their little legs for just a
brief moment, then bend them to sit right and
blow on them until they cool and harden - only
a second or two.
Sounds terrible, I know, LOL. Burn their little
legs. Egads!

*LOL* Good tip, Karen!
I wouldn't have figured out how to reshape a plastic lizard.

You will never find info like that on another site. I googled Lizard toture and they had not heard of this method. Only the best info on the stew. I nominate WUVIE for entry into the Tinfoil Hat Brigade.

I'm really starting to like bowling ball yard art! I like the lizard ball. I think I saw a bowling ball at the second hand store the other day...I'm gonna go back and see if it's still there!

Tinfoil Hat Brigade.
Oh my. Should I be honored or embarrassed?
Forgot to mention, if you hold their little
feet to the flame too long, their toes pop,
sizzle, turn black and smoke.
Cajun, I'm glad you posted about bowling balls.
I love them and can't find enough time to work
on them. I'm all caught up on work for the day,
so after my youngest comes home, I hope to be
able to work on my latest bowling ball.
Netty, hurry, hurry! Be sure to ask the clerk
if there are additional balls hiding in the store.
Hope you'll come back & let us know if you had
any luck.
KM
