I let my poppies self sow each year and they never come back the same. This year I got some pale pinks with frilly petal edges. The colours vary from shades of pink to purple. I love how they change each year. Last year Mum sent me some red poppy seed. I wonder if that will affect the form and colour of my poppy population.

I would love it if you have any spare seeds kicking around. I love the red poppy and I like the pink poppy. I am new here and I am sorry to say that I do not have any seeds to trade.

Im so glad I stumbled across this link
I have 5 varieties of poppy seeds waiting for good homes. Some I collected so long ago that the envelopes are labeled 'Aunty Lindas Poppys - double pink frilly' and 'The girl from works Poppys - variety unknown'. I also have one named variety Poppy Bracteatum (picture looks similar to ladybird poppy). Also have mystery packet saying 'POP PMI G 83A'. And another saying just 'poppy'. Would anybody like them, willing to post them. I think I've got about 100 seeds of each packet/envelope so can split and send same to 5 of you. Let me know by pm. Please title it 'Poppy seeds' (been getting some unknown e-mails recently)
