I am a transplanted Scot, living in Ontario Canada. , I am a master gardener and I teach gardening to night schools and garden clubs. I also write for gardening publications.
I have a 2 acre English style garden, that I created out of a farmer's field.
I receive many visitors to my garden from all over North America.
I have just finished my first EBook on
How to master affordable organic gardening.
Look forward to talking with you!

Hi there Mrs Greenthumb from a fellow Scot!! Which part of our country do you hail from? I, myself, was born in Leith in Midlothian but now live in Livingston Village in West Lothian.
I've been an organic gardener for over twenty years now but I'm no expert. I look forward to reading more of your tips, like the viability of seeds blog entry, and hope you enjoy being a member of our worldwide community here at The Stew.
WELCOME

Thank you all for your warm welcome. I come from Edinburgh, although I have been in Ontario for many years ( still don't know how I cope with the winters!!)
Yes, I have some lovely pictures from my garden , If I can find out how to send them to you!!
I am starting a new endeavour, I am selling flower seeds from my garden, but I only packet them in small quantities, I find that many of my visitors complain that they get too many seeds in a packet, and have had to pay a higher price and they don't use them all so a lot is waste.
So I decided to packet my seeds in much smaller quantities so that people could have a few plants and pay less.
I have annual and perennials, so if anyone thinks this would work for them, I charge 50cents a packet, and there is enough to get most people going. I have lots of varities, so let me know if this seems like a good idea. I would appreciate your feed back. Mrs Greenthumb.
P.S If anyone needs a question answered I will be only to pleased to help.
