I just bought a house and it has 3 apple trees and I believe 2 pear trees. They didn't look to good in Sep. when we first moved here. On the apple trees had 2 or 3 apple on each and a whole bunch of bugs. Is there something we can do to make them grow better and produce more fruit. Do you need to spray them with something? Do you need to prune them and how?

Here are some useful websites for you to have a look at squalyw. I think they should answer the questions you have about your trees.
