Have a romantic and love filled St. Valantine's Day everybody!!! Here'a little Valantine's Day poem for all us gardeners.
Be my Valentine.
Cabbage always has a heart;
Green beans string along.
You're such a Tomato,
Will you Peas to me belong?
You've been the Apple of my eye,
You know how much I care;
So Lettuce get together,
We'd make a perfect Pear.
Now, something's sure to Turnip,
To prove you can't be Beet;
So, if you Carrot all for me
Let's let our tulips meet.
Don't Squash my hopes and dreams now,
Bee my Honey, dear;
Or tears will fill Potato's eyes,
While Sweet Corn lends an ear.
I'll Cauliflower shop and say
Your dreams are Parsley mine.
I'll work and share my Celery,
Be my valentine.

Happy Valentines Day everyone.
I will be hidden in my room today nibbling on the Godiva 72% Extra Dark Chocolate candy that Randy gave me.

We are all on a diet around here, so a bar of Godiva is a real treat this year. Besides, dark chocolate (the darker the better) is a healthy food.....THEY say so, but then I have known it for many years

Eils you're stranded on a desert island which do you pick, a bag of chocolate or a bag of horse manure?

Definately the horse manure, especially if I'm stranded, at least I have the chance of growing my own foodstuff that way!!!
