We do have the red cardinals (males) but there weren't any around when I snapped the pic.

I saw a cardinal out in our back yard today - the first I had seen in awhile.

Cardinals are such lovely birds - such a vivid colour in the male. We don't have anything like them here at all. Sad I'd love to see some piccies of your hummingbirds CK when they visit your garden. Very Happy
