Hi Kareen,
I have never collected the hips from my roses but your quest got me curious about growing them from seed. After reading the following info on germinating rose seeds I think I will just stick with buying the plants. Shocked

Today I pulled off some seeds on my Orange rose bush..

I don't see why they would't grow? It might take a long time. But, I still have many years left to see them bloom...lol
