HELP!!! I am told that this is Jasmine. I have no idea. It was here when I bought my house 8 years ago. It gets cut down to the ground every early winter. It has vining stems and is huge, don't let the first pic fool you it gets bigger. It doesn't bloom till late July, early August. The flowers are very fragrant and are little white 6 petaled beauties about an inch across. I think it may be Jasmine but can't find out for sure. any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Clematis ternifolia
(aka paniculata)
“Sweet Autumn Clematis”

Very lovely, wish mine grew as well as yours,
it might help if I had it planted in the right spot. Embarassed

I have one of those but it needs to be moved for more sun. The trees have grown over it since it was planted, it did bloom a little bit last summer.

Well, I thought it was a Clematis. But a friend said it was Jasmine. I did have my doubts. It sure is nice to know what it is for sure. That was a fast reply as well. Cheers to you.
