Here is a photograph I managed to take (at long last) of a kingfisher that visited our river today. Isn't he beautiful? It's only taken me over thirty years to get a shot of one!!!! Rolling Eyes

Wow Eileen, I have never seen a Kingfisher in the flesh...or should that be in the feathers before. Stunning bird - so blue. You are very lucky to catch it on camera!!

Good job!! And such a beautiful shot! Our kingfishers are camera-shy too, and look a bit different from yours, white where yours is red. They are so identifiable with that no-tail!
