|
I received a letter today from Johnny's Selected Seeds telling me that in early February information had been stolen from their web site including my name, address, phone number and credit card number. I am assuming other customers information was also stolen. I reported it to my card company immediately and they will issue me a new account.

It is highly possible, Toni, that they could also obtain the checking account numbers along with everything else.

Oh Toni, that's terrible! I'm glad they caught it quickly, but getting new credit cards can be a pain in the butt! Do you think this will stop you from shopping online?

That's awful, Toni. Brings back memories of my Paypal account being hacked a few months ago. I thought that companies didn't keep credit card numbers. Guess Johnny's seed is different. I hope that this inconvenience is the worst of it.

Just contacted Johnny's Seeds and indeed was informed this is true. I'll immediately request a replacement card. Many thanks for the heads up!
