Hello,
I was wondering if anyone could recommend a digital camera for taking plant, flower and landscape photos?
The camera should have a manual focus feature as the autofocus default on my current digital camera tends to focus on the most detailed feature in the field. Usually it's a blade of grass below the rose bloom I'm trying to capture. Any suggestions? I'm using an HP auto focus digital camera now.

I use a Canon eos d20 with a 100 mm lens for closeup work. This camera has auto, manual, and all permutations. I have a 50 mm lens as well that I love. The Nikon interchangeable lens cameras are good too, but I have always been a Canon shooter

When you have that picture in your head, make the cannon huge with cannon balls that could sink ships or penetrate castle walls.

OMG now you've got me at it!!! Rolling Eyes

Jan standing behind a HUGE cannon aboard a frigate, dressed as a pirate (captain of course, complete with wide brimmed hat, open necked shirt and thigh boots) cutlass at the ready, parrot on shoulder (a blue macaw I think) and with a pretty girl hanging on her arm looking up at her adoringly. Razz

You got it, Eileen!!! I especially like the sweet young thing on my arm. Could you send her on along, please?
Oops, Donna might get a bit upset.
