We have to keep Rambo shaved too because of alergies and dry skin. He always comes home from the groomer looking like a skinny, underfed dog and it takes us a while to get used to it. But he is a much happier puppy without the hair and constant scratching.

My mom had a cockapoo? and she had it shaved every summer because the longer hair was too uncomfortable in the hundred plus weather. Dooley

poor Oreo hope he is feeling a little better now,we have harvest mites somewhere near us and the little **** get into the cats paws between the toes behind the ears anywhere that is a little short on hair, the only thing that gets them going is "frontline spot on" which has fipronil which is the only thing that will kill harvest mites,
so from now until November the cats will have to suffer them unless they have moved which sometimes they do.
so heres hoping.

Oh poor Oreo. Hope he gets better soon. My cat had earmites not too long ago and she was miserable until the vet made her feel better. It is sad because like babies they can't tell us where they feel bad.
