A quiet Sunday afternoon and garden catalogs are not necessarily a good mix. I order strawberries and blueberries from Gurneys. I seem to have the urge to try and grow fruit this year. Next I looked at Brecks catalog and ordered Asciepiea mixture, Verbascum mixture, Little Missy Daylily and Fire King Crocosmia. Twenty two items in all from Brecks and 52 from Gurneys. I thnk the last two days of melting snow has inspired me to believe spring is on its way.

You will love Little Missy, she is a beauty. She also does very well in a container.

The snow is starting to melt here too Polly! That really gets my spring fever going! I hope to add more strawberries this year, and some Crocosmia is also on my wish list.
