I am new to gardening in Sweden and any hints as to what can grow well here would be greatly appreciated.

Hi uunbeliever and welcome to GardenStew also from Sweden. I have been situated in Malmö since last year. I'm Irish. Still finding my feet and getting used to all of the ways of Sweden. And of course the language Smile I förra året ja var dåligt att pratar svenska men nu det blir bättre varje dag Cool I think you'll find that gardening in Sweden is not strange or unusual but similar to a lot of Europe. The temperatures will be a slight bit colder in your location that's all so you may have to account for that.

Welcome aboard!

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I recently moved here from Vancouver. Och min svensk är inte så bra också, men jag försök. I have just turned the gardens, by hand, and must wait for the temp to be a bit more stable. We are still 2 degrees at night. The land has not been use for many years so should I worry about fertalizing?
