We have a huge willow tree in the back yard. It is a messy tree as we all know but I still love it in the back corner of our property. I was out this afternoon wading in the water picking up some of the branches on the ground when I looked up and saw this split in one of the large branches. I think we may have to get someone in to finish cutting the branch off. Since his accident two years ago, I don't let my husband do such things.

Just make sure you don't spend time underneath that willow - we don't want you getting hurt if the branch falls.

I love Willow's, but they sure are messy after a good wind. Be careful around that tree Polly until you get that branch cut off!

Quite a split! A shame to see such a nice big branch have to go. A tree service is a good idea.

I'm glad your hubby is not doing it. I worry everytime mine has a chainsaw in his hand.
