Hi! Our house caught on fire and there was a lot of smoke damage throughout the whole house so we are getting our house fixed and while it's getting fixed we are remodeling it and upgrading it. I was wondering if there is anyone that could reccomend what paint colors to pick out for our living room/dining room, family room, kitchen, master bedroom, master bathroom, 1 full bathroom, 1/2 bathroom, and our loft. I also need someone to reccomend on what color to pick out for the exterior of the house. Oh and also what kind of stain should we pick for the kitchen cabinets? We have stainless steel appliances and oak cabinets. I also need to mention is that our bedroom set, dining table, dining table in the nook are dark cherry color, our living room sofa and loveseat is brand new and the color is white so its not the one in the picture anymore, our sectional couch in the family room is like a tannish color same as the one in the picture, the 4th bedroom in the house was opened up and turned into a loft so we're putting a couch their too which will be the same color as the sectional couch in the family room. If someone could please give ideas that would be really great. Thanks! Hi... Here in Florida, most of us with new or newer homes keep the entire interior in one color usually neutral (soft beige) or white, often close to the exterior color or trim color, and one that goes with furnishings, or colors you like....then we bring in compatible colors in window treatments, carpet, tile, marble or granite, wallpaper for a feature wall or border paper etc. I believe the days of every room a different color are a thing of the past, however it's up to you and your family and what you like is what counts, you live there not us...being in a hot climate we go for soft cool colors, where you live you may enjoy dark, bold, warm colors??
