Here's a few things that are off to a good start.
Creeping Jenny shows her face.

Hawthorne bloom

Magnolia gives up the ghost.

Hubby's favorite scent-Queen Fabiola

My absolute favorite, Spicebush. These tiny blooms have a great clove scent.

Winter Hazel opens her buds.

Glorious Spring!

Isn't it grand to have all those 'pretties' in the garden again. They are so welcome after the drab winter months. My hawthorne has never bloomed. Sad Maybe this year as the flowers on yours are really lovely.

Wonderful pictures Bethie.
Spicebush and Witch Hazel are on my long list of plants to get and I have an almost empty front yard just waiting for them.

Very nicely framed pictures, like something I would see on a set of stationery! And look at all those magnolia petals - lovely shot of them.

Glorious is exactly the word that came to my mind, too, Bethie.

Wonderful plants Bethie. I have 2 glorious days off coming up and will spend them, except Sunday morning, in the yard.

I just bought a Creeping Jenny on Wednesday and planted it in a hanging basket on Thursday. I had never seen one either and really liked it. Now, I see there are little roots along the stems. Should I have planted it in the ground? The tag said good for hanging baskets. Dooley

Dooley either way is great for this plant. It can be a "bit of a thug" under ideal ground conditions but I don't mind because it is so lovely. Good luck with yours. Cool

I have a creeping jenny that creeps all over. I had it several years ad really like it so I just pull out the ones that creep too much.

So much colour in March! A joy. The magnolias in our neighbourhood have now all lost their petals thanks to the strong artic winds we have had blowing though this weekend.
