Well spring officially gets here at 8: 40 tonight est. I took the snow blower off the tractor this morning and if I get 14 inches of snow now I will be really ticked off!

Oh I do hope you've not taken that snow blower off too early.

I wish I had your confidence Capt. that the snow was done. We had some yesterday morning that stuck around until noon and flurries again today.

Just a light spring shower this morning. And they say in the 60's and 70's the rest of the week.

Now that spring is officially here, I hope thats the end of the snow for everyone! I'm going to keep my snow tires on a little longer, just in case!

I finally caught the spring bug today, and got off my duff and back out into the gardens! Not much going on yet, just the usual spring cleanup. Did get the pond uncovered and the fountain in front cleaned out and running. Got hubby to take down the remaining Christmas lights too! LOL
All that got me in the mood to do some maintenance on my website too, hope to get the 2007 version started soon! No photos to share yet, but shouldn't be too long.

I got all of the flower beds cleaned out, the outside furniture set out and quite a bit of the yard picked up. It got up to 78 yesterday afternoon and I even had shorts on. They say a high of 80 for today but a chance of some showers. Our normal high for March is like the low 50's !

Beautiful all day today here in Michigan until I got home from work. Then it started to cool off and the winds picked up so no gardening tonight as I had hoped.

It got up to 82 here which is a new record. The old one was 81 set in 1902, so it isn't global warming! But today is cool and windy with a northeast wind and foggy.
