Hi
Has anyone ever grown Coleus from seeds?
If so how long did it take for them to come.
I got excited when I saw a picture of red velvet coleus.
Thanks for the help & God bless you!!!
Kathy

I read somewhere once that it was not worth the trouble growing coleus from seed. So, guess what, I had to prove them wrong. I got some seed, sowed them in Jiffy seed starting mix and they germinated and grew into very pretty coleus. Would I do it again, YES, it was well worth the trouble, which was no trouble at all. I want to try the Kong coleus from seed, but not this year. If I recall it didn't take them too long to grow, and since they stay pretty until frost I say go for it.
