My tulips are really Open now .I wonder if you can find a hat in this picture.
I do love the color of this tulip.It looks like a Lily.
I think this one is called Spider Wart here.

I saw what looked like a Stetson sitting on the grass in the background then realized it is the open tulip. What a neat picture.

hey that top tulip looks almost in the shape of a hat,very pretty,yes,i had some of that spider wart,closes up later in the day, dont have any here..

I couldn't figure it out at first toni until it dawned on me thats not a hat someone lose thats my tulip.Lol

Great pics Glendann. I saw the hat right away and thought it really WAS a hat!
I have a white, blue and purple Spiderwort. I love the blooms but the plants get very scraggly by mid summer.
Yours are very nice.

I am so jealous that you have flower already. Okay, I know Texas is a long way south of PA, but I'm still jealous. Did you know the tulip was going to look like a hat before you took the picture, or did you see it after you took it?

I saw it after I had down loaded it into Photo Bucket.You live near a Mushroom farm in Pa? Would it be near Princeton by any chance?If so is it Monterey Mushroon facility?
