Chance was four years old in November. She is spoiled. She is dr's dog though I was the one that wanted a dog. Our last dog was ten years old when we had to have her put down because of cancer. Chance loves dr to play with her. She comes to me to get a biscuit though. Dooley

I have no pets of my own now but my daughter has a fancy rat who's two and a half, two gerbils that are four years old, a Western Hog Nose Python that's also two and a half and a tank full of tropical fish of various ages!! It's living living in a zoo sometimes.

My old office cat, Missy Mama is 13 or 14. I've only had her about 4 years though. Yes she is spoiled!!! I'm reaching over her to type right now!
My little cat, Stratton lives at my house and she is almost 3. Yep, she's spoiled too!

Three cats all acquired last summer.
Puzzle came from the neighbors - he is about 8 or 9.
Longfellow and HardHat were strays my husband caught - the vet thinks they are probably about 2 now.

Deputy and Patch own the place and let us live with them. Both are 14 years old and think that they are 2. Both started out with other families, but we are really glad that they are with us now.

I have two German Shepherds, 12 & 7. This will be their last summer . The older is the mom and has nerve damage to her lower back but, is in no pain. The younger has hip dysplasia. She got it from her dad, so if you breed even for the joy and not the money don't rush in check the papers. She is in wonderful health but her hips won't hold her, we keep a close eye on her so we can put her down before it gets to painful. The mom couldn't have taken another winter and the pup doesn't know she isn't a pup so we decided that they would go togeather. I don't think they would make it alone. It seems a little to 'Red Fernish'.

Thanks, we are doing OK. The hard part is picking the day, about the time we starting thinking about it my 4 & 3 yr old girls go out to play and the dogs perk up and want to play. But we know that will end. At least the girls will remember them. I got the oldest as a wedding pres. for my husband we have never been w/o her really. It's going to be different.
Sorry didn't mean to bum everyone out...just a soft spot. I wouldn't have traded a day.
