Or should that be seedlings? As you can see, spring is lurching on, and I have 2 allotments to get planted up, so seeds are being sown at every oppurtunity.

tomatos and chillis just germinating

tomato seedlings

More tom seedlings, these have been potted on

Number one son James is a keen gardener and this is his box sown with cut and come again lettuce

And here are his carrots. These will be pulled when they are just babies to eat whole.

The right hand side of my greenhouse - sweetpeas and broadbeans are the large plants towards the glass

The left hand side of my greenhouse

Cauliflower seedlings, a variety called 'all the year round'. I have trouble with these and this is supposed to be an old fasioned reliable variety.

Can you see the tiny beetroot seedlings just breaking through?

I love this time of year. Very Happy

EJ your seedlings are all doing sooo well. My toms are a little behind yours but getting bigger and stronger daily. I hate having to thin them out though as I want to keep them all but simply don't have the space. Sad
Oh for a greenhouse like yours. I'd never be seen again!!!! Laughing Laughing

Boy do I feel like a slug after seeing your 450 babies. There are so few vegies my family will eat. Your green house is wonderful, so organized.

Remembering the beautifully designed photos of your vegies last year, I am looking forward to more this year.

WOW! Shocked I'm just speechless, E.J.
Haven't you just been the most industrious little gardener?

Alright, I'm going to go sit in the corner and mope,
I'm SOOOO far behind. Confused

Seriously though, your babies are beautiful,
I can't wait to see them grow. Mr. Green

Thanks everyone. It really is a case of sowing when I can. Time is precious!

Richard, a friend gave me some seeds just the other day, altho I left them at hers so they are winging their way to me in the mail. Supposed to be quick maturing.
