Here is Deputy, he is 14 years old, a Yellow Lab, and our good friend. He has been with us for 7 years. We were very fortunate to meet him at a time when his first family was going through some hard times. There was a divorce and breaking up of a family, and Deputy was among the things that were not apart of their future. We were looking for a dog to fill a gap left by the departure of our other good friend Sandy. Deputy moved from city life to our mixture of suburban and country. And after I retired almost all country. We still go to the house in the suburbs occasionally, but he much prefers the North Woods. He loves life here on the lake, where he roams free. he pretty much comes and goes at his own choosing. We have of late had to keep a little closer watch on him as he has gone nearly deaf. He can hear when I whistle, but not so much voice commands. I don't like that choice of words, "commands", more like "friendly advice".

Deputy looks like a good soul Calomaar, there is a kind look in his eyes. Looks much younger than 14 also. I'm glad he found a home with you.

Seems like you and Deputy are both very fortunate
to have found each other at the right time. Smile
Your words make it clear how grateful you are,
and it's written all over Deputy's face.
Very Happy What a lovely pup he is.

Great dog, God bless you for giving him a home. My dog nibbler is part Lab and is one smart cookie.
