This morning I am carefully trimming my little maple trees that grow in tubs. You can only prune them a little. Into my vision comes this little sleepy green treefrog. He nicely opened an eye for the photo.

Aww, that's an awfully cute little bug zapper, Bethie.
He/she has so much personality, might we (one day) see him rendered in glass??
I hope so.

Great photo! I don't think I've ever seen a tree frog here. Are they only in certain parts of the country?

Pianolady, unfortunately no green treefrogs for you. He ranges south along the coastal plain into Forida and the Keys, west to s. Texas, and north through c. Arkansas and w. Tenessee (lucky me) to Illinois.
