I am going to have find one of those Tropicanna Cannas someplace.
I have never seen a Glad like that, it looks almost like a lily....really pretty.
My verbena hasn't started blooming yet, but the red Dianthus have had buds since January and started opening last month.

Dianthus are among my favourite flowers. I could sit in the garden surrounded by their scent all day long.

Netty- i dont know how hardy they are. You can problably still see the info on michiganbulb. the only ones ive had come up so far are pink.

There is an old homesite on the way to work and the yard is full of hardy glads, purple ones. I have to get dianthus, they bloom all winter here, and I just don't know why I haven't gotten any yet. Tropicana is also on my wish list.

That's a gorgeous canna leaf. Dianthus are a fave of mine. I make a trip in early spring to get a few. They last several years here. I adore the colors.
