The male Goldfinches are starting to turn yellow again. They turn a greenish color in the fall. I saw several males at the bird feeder today and they were more yellow than green.

My husband says the ones here are now doing the same. He is the birdwatcher in the family.

All our birds are now wearing their spring/summer plumage. It's lovely to see them so colourful again. Very Happy
