Oh, How pretty Capt. Certainly not a April Fools joke.

I wish my hyacinths would all bloom in a bunch like that, this year I got two blooms out of about 15 plants. Crying or Very sad

I have some pink ones too, but they only have one or two blooms on each one. The surprising thing is, these started to come up in Jan. and then we had the extremely cold weather in Feb and they went back to being dormant. I am surprised they bloomed at all.

I think the heavy freeze we had in late January confused mine and they just decided not to try blooming this year. The one little bloom starting to open in early January was stunted by the cold and got no bigger.

Melissa, I am in Marysville Ohio. Thats about 30 miles northwest of Columbus. It's where the Honda Auto and motorcycle plant is.

hey capt. my son is in dayton, i grew up in youngstown and warren . but speaking of motorcycles, rain and of course aprilfools, heres a great laugh for everyone...my guy(crazy hillbillie)thought he would just drive his brand new 2007 harley thruogh the yard and put his baby on the porch out of the rain.....hahaha....600lbs sank right in mud covered with grass..oh !@$%*(*(^*%%^$$@$##@!!@!no well well thank goodness for the comealong i got him for christmas. and he ask ....what do i need this for?well we called my dad and he said.."son get that thing she got you for christmas!yes it is now safe back in drive way covered with mud. nothing like gettin a little mud on the tires her in wva. melissa

Such a blue, and I agree, the scent is to die for. I work in a garden where there is a bank of them open at the moment, and I can smell them when I first arrive, the scent is fresh on the breeze. Lovely clear photo, and the bark around them sets of them off beautifully.
