When is the proper time to fertilize a lawn? I'm on the WV and MD border and I noticed the lawn may be due for the first cutting of the year. Did I miss the best time or should I just do it?

Hi Rick. Over here, in Scotland, we fertilize our lawns for the first time in May. There may be someone along in a while you can advise you on when best to do it in your area though.
