Good heavens - I go out and work in my yard, etc. and by the time I come back around to my computer again what do I find at the Stew? 263 new posts!
Are you insane? This place is like a runaway sewing machine. How do you keep up?

It is simple to keep up here is a list of ways,
1. Quit your job(Make sure you have enough money saved for utilities and internet bills.}
2. Stop cooking/cleaning your house.
3. Don't cut your grass{explain to neighbors you are starting a benefical insect santuary in your yard}
I am sure others will have helpful hints also.

I'm with Richard Here are some more:
- Hire a butler/maid
- Hire a look-a-like so that others don't get suspicious about your disappearance
- Install our toolbar so you can keep updated no matter what site you're visiting
- Add a water-proof computer into your shower
- Replace your computer chair with a toilet
I have of course done all of the above already

The way I handle the keeping caught up on the Stew posts is.........
I do dishes when the cabinets are empty and if I don't get them dried and put back up, then I don't do them again until the dish drainer is empty.
I do laundry when it is either that or go buy everyone new undies
When someones shoe gets stuck to the floor and won't come loose, then I know it is time to clean the floors...tried just buying new shoes but before long you couldn't walk thru the house for tripping over shoes stuck to the floor.
I clean windows when someone says, "I didn't realize there was a total eclipse of the sun today"
I would dust more often but then light gleaming off the shiny furniture surfaces would highlight the cobwebs in corners and hanging from the ceiling.
One good thing about all those shoes stuck to the floor is everyone is so busy looking down to avoid them that they can't look up and see those cobwebs.
I clean the blades of the ceiling fans when the fluffy stuff starts flying off and then only when it starts landing in the cup of fresh hot coffee I am drinking while reading the forum posts.
If I can remember more housecleaning versus Stew post reading tips I will let you know.
Oh, yeah, on cooking supper. Sometimes you just have to tell the family that if they are hungry and expect to eat then they should also learn to cook.

I wash a dish and run to the computer.
Put a few clothes in the washer and run to the computer go into withdrawal when I'm at work and get behind anyway.

Ya'll sure are a funny bunch, I tell you! lol
It's been awhile since I've been here and I'm afraid I will never get caught back up on the Stew posts!
Guess I need to learn to let some of the housecleaning go too! The crawling baby and the shoes stuck to the floor might not be the best idea tho! lol

Our computer has been down for a week, and I don't think I will ever have the time to catch up with all the postings!
Someone to do the ironing would please me Shanna.

I just found 128 new posts in 24 hours! I'm not complaining either!
Housework? Isn't that what kids are for?

Toni's response left out a couple of details.
First, she was only joking about only cleaning the windows when you can't see through them. She hasn't cleaned the windows since we moved in. We moved in before Amanda was born. Amanda's 19.
Second, she wasn't joking about the ceiling fans.
Third, she was joking about the shoes. There's no way we could get Amanda to shop for shoes that often. We had trouble getting her to buy a new pair each year for school. Her big sister can't figure that out.
Fourth, she wasn't joking about not cooking. This has led to the discovery that, as hard as it is to believe, there are some things that shouldn't be deep fried. Deep fried is my favorite of the four basic food groups. The four basic food groups are Sugar, Flour, Southern Comfort, and Deep Fried.
Fifth, the dust isn't that bad. We cull the Dust Bunny herd when it gets too large to survive on the available grazing ground.

Well, on pokey dialup I have given up on jokes and games and go right to plants. It has given poor hubby a break from endless Plant Talk where he has to pretend an interest but hasn't a clue.

Leave it to the kid. Tell hubby that your not feeling well or forgot to take something out of freezer. Delivery is a great thing.
