I've had my digital camera for a while now but have never read the instruction book. Embarassed Ian is away down south on business at the moment and I got bored. Yes, you've guessed it I read the manual and discovered my macro setting. Here are some piccies I took. Maybe tomorrow I'll find out what all the other settings are. Rolling Eyes

Really good pictures Eileen. I have heard that things like cameras, computers, etc work so much better when we read the instruction booklet...guess I will have to find the booklet on our camera.

Ooo smashing Eileen. We have a new camera and at the moment, 'he' is having trouble taking pics of anything moving as it blurs. We will get there in the end.

Great pictures Eileen! Things are really coming alive in your garden.
I've had my digital camera for 3 years (got it used from a friend) and still haven't read the manual!

Excellent job! Macro can be challenging, but it looks like you've got it down.

I like that Primrose shot.

Macro photography is dear to my heart. One of the most important things to learn about your camera while doing macros is the minimum focusing distance and don't try and get any closer!

Todays cameras are so complicated it is a good idea to read the manual to take advantage of all of the features. Or most of them
