Here's a few spring blooms:

The first is my double amaryllis,
Next, a dark purple Louisiana iris,
Third, Alternanthera, Party Time, the pink is a lot bolder in real life, I love this plant,
Fourth, a clematis
And last, but not least, a Seven Sisters climbing rose, note all of the bud clusters on it, in about 2 weeks it will be solid pink, so that means another pic forthcoming.

Well those were definately worth waiting to see. Very Happy The Alternanthera is lovely - I don't think I've ever seen one before. However, my favourite has to be your double amaryllis which is really beautiful. Mr. Green

Don't let anyone ever tell you it is not worth planting a bulb that has been forced. I got the amaryllis at WalMart and forced it into bloom for Christmas one year. I planted it in the yard and it has bloomed and multiplied every year since. If I would have listened to the "experts", it would have went into the trash.

I found the alternanthera at a small local gardening center, I had never seen it before. It is certainly beautiful and can't wait to see it at it's full potential.

I've never thrown any bulbs out and I certainly wouldn't throw out an amaryllis!!!! Shocked I think they are THE most beautiful flowers and I intend to get some bulbs while I'm in Holland.

Beautiful blooms Sharon. I don't think I can pick a favorite! The Clematis looks like my "Nelly Moser".

They are all beautiful Sharon. I am glad you could finally post pics. The clematis does look like the Nelly Moser I used to have at the old house. I can wait to see the climbing rose in full bloom.

Ahhhh, Sharon those are all gorgeous.
I have never seen an Alternanthera before. It looks like it has tendrils for climbing or is it a bushy plant? It is really pretty.

It is a bushy plant, no tendrils, not a very good pic, doesn't do it justice at all. The pink is a shocking pink and the green is lighter than in the picture. I had never seen one either and it drew my attention right away. Of course, being pink helped. And I love anything with a pink and green combination, mm favorite colors.
