Yesterday Shanna and I went to town .We saw this round thing in the ditch so on the way back we picked it up.It was a dryer drum .Today Cheyenne
and I filled it up mostly Cheyenne did it as I was mowing on the little tractor mower and Shanna was
mowing with the small mower and weed eating.
We got so much done today.
Here is my roadside find after I planted Pansies
Dianthus,Hollyhocks and Johnny-Jump-Ups in it now I want a few other plants and all it will need is paint.I will pick up on my way to work.
Another view in a different direction.

Thanks Kat, I don't plan on moving it I want to build around it with landscaping timbers and fill with compost and plant more flowers. When these plants stop blooming and die I want to put trailing plants.

Gosh, Glenda you sure find some interesting things for planters. Now, every where I go I look for things like that but I don't find much. Guess I am not looking in the right places. Dooley

Those make great planters don't they Glenda. We have 2 washing machine drums used for rose bushes, if I can get another one I am going to make a worm bed out of it. A pretty spring green like Polly's chair would be pretty.

Good find! I'd have grabbed it too.
Looks great planted up, Glenda.

Glenda, cool planter. Maybe after painting it, get a roll of flower bed fencing at Walmart that looks like white picket fence to wrap around the lower the tub.
I like the idea of planting trailing plants in it, that will look really nice.

Another trash to treasure. I too am curious on your paint color choice. As Sharon said the green I used on my chair would be good - but I also am painting one chair a pale yellow and I think you "planter" would look good that color at well.
